ÏDKIDS selects the OneStock OMS to accelerate its omnichannel multi-brand transformation
Great news : children’s group of brands ÏDKIDS has choosen to use the OneStock OMS in order to become omnichannel. Thanks to its four well-known brands (Okaïdi, Obaïbi, Oxybul – Eveil et jeux, Jacadi), its turnover at the end of 2018 was more than 900 million euros. With 1,200 stores in 70 countries, the group was keen to improve its order management processes in order to quickly deploy the most efficient omnichannel scenarios.
The ÏDKIDS group of brands has launched a global transformation project to achieve this, taking care to include all departments and IT teams from the various brands in this adventure.
After conducting a major ERP migration project in 2018, ïDKIDS wanted to focus on the implementation of a new OMS. This crucial step will enable ïDKIDS to accelerate its transformation towards multi-brand omnicanality and meet its major challenge of serving its customers :
- whatever the sales channel (M-commerce, E-commerce, stores, customer service)
- wherever the stock is (warehouses, stores)
- whatever the brand
- whatever the delivery location and method
- all whilst optimising and ensuring the delivery time given to the customer.
Ship from Store : multiple brands, multiple warehouses, multiple shipments
ÏDKIDS brands are already well established in North America, so the first phase of the project will aim to deploy Ship from Store in the ten Jacadi stores in the USA. From the summer of 2019, the brand will be able to ship US online orders directly from US stores rather than shipping them from France (as they currently do).
The OneStock OMS will provide better visibility of the availability of items thanks to the unification of warehouse, supplier and store stock. Ultimately, all brands in the group will in time be able to increase the availability of products online regardless of the delivery method chosen by the customer.
The OMS was the missing piece from our IT system. The OneStock results seen at other retailers and the extremely short implementation time really guided our decision. We are eager to be able to improve the quality of our services for our customers and optimise the management of our omnichannel orders.

Unified Click & Collect, and Reserve & Collect
Unified Click & Collect, Reserve & Collect, Collection in Three Hours, Ship from Store, Express Ship from Store – offer cross-channel services to deliver a true omnichannel experience! This was the main goal for all ÏDKIDS brands. Depending on the scenario selected, the OneStock engine will orchestrate orders. Stock will be sourced according to several criteria, rules, constraints and priorities determined by each brand:
- Geographic position of the customer and the store
- Customer language
- Product type (product family, price, size, etc)
- Stock rotation
- Shipping costs
- Delivery time provided to the customer (respecting carrier deadlines)
- Other parameters.
Delivery Promise optimisation
Keen to deliver an optimal customer experience, the ÏDKIDS community has chosen to improve its customer promise using the OneStock Delivery Promise solution. Thanks to the unification of stock, the software will calculate in real time the delivery time of an article according to the number of items added to the basket and the delivery method chosen by the customer during their website visit, thus providing accurate and reliable delivery information.
As soon as the basket is reviewed and confirmed, delivery options and dates for each product will be confirmed to the customer. They will still be able to modify the delivery method for one or more items in order to adapt it to their needs. This is an extra service and a real bonus to the customer!
Come back very soon to see the results that an agile OMS has brought for the brands in the ÏDKIDS community.
